Giving help for a year but hope for eternity!

The Hope Scholarship is an opportunity to invest in the lives and future of children in Burkina Faso, West Africa! In Burkina, education is not free and is not provided for everyone. Because of this, many children from challenged homes are unable to receive an education. Through the scholarship, we will help provide schooling for the children during the year. Even more importantly, they will have special clubs every week at their church, learning the truths of the Bible and experiencing the love of Christ!

About the Scholarship

How the program works

  1.  Before the start of each school year, the funds/pledges available will be analyzed to see how many children we will be able to help that year. The children will be chosen based on those greatest in need, with priority given to orphans. Half will be chosen from the churches and the other half will be Muslim children from the neighborhoods.
  2. The children will then be enrolled in school, with the Scholarship paying for their tuition, books, and materials. The children will also be plugged into one of the churches, where they will participate in the different programs of their church.
  3.  Each church will host a special weekly meeting for the children enrolled in the scholarship. A meal will be provided every week, as well as vitamins and other nutritions. During these meetings, the kids will check in with the volunteer workers of their church and be taught lessons from the Bible.

Cost breakdown

One of the main advantages of this scholarship is that it will be run through the missionaries, volunteers, and churches already established here in Burkina. So 100% of everything given will go directly to helping the children!
